Fortunata: Our signature espresso was developed by Pitango founder Noah Dan in collaboration with Vigilante Coffee. The blend is comprised of Sumatran, Ethiopian and Brazilian coffees and is noted for its complex profile and fruity yet toasty flavor. Named for Noah’s grandmother, Fortunata espresso is, like her, strong and feisty but never bitter.
Matrimonio: Matrimonio is a marriage of two single-origin varieties from Ecuador and Brazil. Brazilian Capim Seco introduces nutty chocolate notes, while Ecuadorian Alambi brings a syrupy texture and caramel undertones to the blend. This medium-bodied drip coffee was designed to taste smooth and delicious whether enjoyed black or with cream and sugar. While we use this blend for its drip coffee, it is also delicious as a cold brew, french press or pour over coffee.
Dolcenera: Named after a popular Italian song about a sweet, dark and tempestuous tryst, Dolcenera, or “sweet and dark” perfectly describes Pitango’s cold brew. This South American blend is made up of natural-process Brazilian Capim Seco and washed-process Ecuadorian Alambi coffees. The winning combination creates a super-smooth iced coffee with a sweet and buttery mouthfeel. While we use this blend for its cold brew coffee, it is also delicious as a drip, french press or pour over coffee.
